ABOUT

The ILSAMP Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) is supported by the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program. LSAMP is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to assist universities and colleges in diversifying the STEM workforce by increasing the number of students from groups historically underrepresented in STEM disciplines.

The ILSAMP Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program at IIT provides financial assistance, research opportunities, and social support for undergraduate students who major in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The program is dedicated to the retention of minority students by providing experiences that develop students’ research potential and provide a community of STEM scholars and professionals.
