Snippets

Snippets are very similar to User Defined Variables in that contents are stored for reuse. The difference between Snippets and User Defined Variables is that Snippets generally store and reuse dynamic content, while User Defined Variables store and reuse static content.

To create a snippet, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Snippet panel at the bottom of the Project Manager pod.
    2. Click on the Create New Snippet icon (left icon in Snippet box). A New Snippet box appears.
  2. Type in Note in name box as your snippet name, then click OK.
  3. Click inside of the Note box to the right and type in Note: Repeat this step.
  4. Select File, then Save New Snippet.hts. from the toolbar above.

You have now created a snippet.

To apply your snippet to your page(s), follow the steps below:

  1. Click inside of your page(s).
  2. Click and drag the Note snippet into your page(s).
