Creating an Index and Glossary

This module teaches you how to create an index and glossary

Index

An index will help your fellow students to find information contained in your Online Manual easily, just like an index in a book.

To create an index, follow the steps below:

  1. Double click index in the Project Manager pod located on the upper left hand of the screen.
  2. Double click on Flash Tutorial (Default).
  3. Click on the Smart Index Wizard icon (second icon to the right of Flash Tutorial (Default) page.
  4. A Smart Index Wizard box appears.
  5. Click Next at the bottom and select Automatically add index keywords for all topics.
  6. Upon selecting this option, RoboHelp will automatically generate keywords for your topic.Click Finish. A Results box indicating how many keywords were added appears. You have now created your index. If you want to add additional keywords, click on the New Index Keyword icon (left icon in the Flash Tutorial (Default) panel.
