Operating a construction program is a complex and multi-faceted process that requires an ever-evolving set of skills, knowledge, and practices. The student chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) at IIT brings together students to develop these skills and prepare the next generation of construction leaders through: · Field trips to Chicago area construction sites to gain a real-world perspective on projects. · Guest lectures from construction professionals on best practices and the future of the field. · Promoting our membership as excellent candidates in the job market · Exchanging ideas and developing management skills through workshops and other group activities. · Partnering with the Chicago-Area CMAA Professional Chapter in local events and meetings. |
