O'Hare Airport
O'hare International Airport is easily accessible by Chicago public transportation.
Directions to/from IIT
From O'Hare to IIT:
- Go to the underground level of 1st, 2nd or 3rd terminal
- Find CTA Blue line O'hare station entrance
- Take Blue line toward Forest Park or 54/Cermak for about 45 minutes to Clark/Lake
- Exit at Clark/Lake and transfer to CTA Green line toward Ashland/East 63rd (go all the way up from the Blue line)
- Take Green line for about 15 minutes till 35th-Bronzeville-IIT
From IIT to O'Hare:
- Enter CTA Green line station 35th-Bronzeville-IIT
- Take the Green line toward Harlem/Lake to Clark/Lake (15 minutes)
- Transfer to CTA Blue line toward O'hare (go all the way down)
- Take Blue line for 45-50 minutes, exit at O'hare station

Directions to/from IIT
From Midway to IIT:
- Take CTA Orange line towards Loop to Roosevelt station
- Transfer to CTA Green line toward Ashland/East 63rd (opposite platform)
- Take Green line for about 5 minutes till 35th-Bronzeville-IIT
From IIT to Midway:
- Enter CTA Green line station 35th-Bronzeville-IIT
- Take the Green line toward Harlem/Lake to Roosevelt (15 minutes)
- Transfer to CTA Orange line toward Midway (opposite platform)
- Take Orange line to Midway station
