Financial Support:

A delegation of over a dozen of U.S. mathematicians will attend the workshop. Some financial support by the National Science Foundation through the grant DMS-0910580 is available for U.S. junior mathematicians or postdocs or graduate students. To apply for financial support, please send an email (tell us your research interests and advisor’s name) to Professor Jinqiao Duan at duan@iit.edu or Professor Kening Lu at klu@math.byu.edu , by April 15, 2009.


Travel and Lodging:

The U.S. participants will most likely fly to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). The local organizers will arrange shuttles from the airport to the S. S. Chern Institute of Mathematics.

Participants will stay in guest houses on campus at Nankai University, where S. S. Chern Institute of Mathematics is located.

Internet facilities will be available for participants.
For Laptop users from outside China: You may need to bring a power plug adapter.

Visa:

You will need an invitation letter from the S. S. Chern Institute of Mathematics, in order to apply for China entry visa. Please get ready to apply for China entry visa either in person or via a passport/travel agency, at one of the following places (depending on your location).

For participants from Europe, please apply for China visa in Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country.
