Bio
Roger Swanberg is a NARTE Certified Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer and Senior EMC Engineer at D.L.S. Electronic Systems, Inc.
Roger is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology and has held various positions in the Electronic Engineering field for over 40 years. As EMC and Electronics Design Engineer, Roger worked for Motorola Consumer Products and Zenith Radio in Color TV design, Nuvatec Design Consulting as EMC designer and Manager of EMI Testing Services, US Robotics as Regulatory Compliance Manager and Engineering Support Manager, then at Motorola Lighting and Motorola Cellular as EMC and Electronics Designer.
He is Vice-Chairman for the IEEE EMC Society and also a member of the DeVry Industrial Advisory Board for more than 10 years each. Roger also teaches at the DLS Seminar series, is a consultant for the lab and performs design evaluations for DLS Customers, designs database user interfaces, guides the test engineers in EMC mitigation issues and acts as project engineer for additions to the test labs.
