HydraLux is a unique trackless floating design which will cover
any converging pool shape. The system is ideal for commercial applications. This design has an R value of 5.
Spectrum's skilled craftsmen fabricate the Marias energy saving swimming pool blanket systems at our Missoula, Montana factory. The Marias II blanket system is superior to all other energy saving pool blankets because our blanket systems employ two layers of woven polyethylene (12 x 12 thread count per inch), which are double coated with 3 mil of ultra violet ray inhibiting film. Cross-linked closed-cell polyethylene foam is then flame laminated between two layers of woven and buoyancy to each of the blanket panels. The laminated blanket panels are then edged with two layers of 12 x 12, double coated, polyethylene material. The edging protects the exposed edges of the laminated blanket material and prevents premature ware. Our edging is weighted and contains tubular chambered with flow holes, a design that accommodates windy environments. Brass grommets are strategically located along the blanket edging for securing blanket panels to storage reel systems, etc. Regular blanket shapes are those that fit square or rectangle swimming pool. Irregular blanket shapes are those that fit the unusual or random shaped swimming pool - these are available at a slightly higher price. Simply supply Spectrum with a drawing and/or pattern (template) of the pool configuration. Multiple blanket panels are normally utilized to cover commercial swimming pools. Blanket panel widths are 15, 18 or 20-feet. The maximum recommended panel width is 20-feet. Panels come complete with loop ties for attaching the individual panels to the Bitterroot portable stainless steel storage systems. Elite
