IIT Skydiving Club celebrates 11 new student jumpsEleven student members of the IF Skydiving Club made their first parachute jumps on Saturday, Oct. 23, bringing the total number of students who have experienced a skydive to 103. Two faculty members, Peter Johnson, professor of chemistry, and John Kallend, senior advisor to vice president, Main Campus have also made jumps with the club. Also last weekend, IIT junior Carl Lebsack became the first student member to "graduate" from the skydiver training program to become a qualified skydiver.
