4 (A)

 participated fully in discussion; spoke when appropriate; asked valid questions; volunteered good answers; performed in all the activities.

 

 stayed on task and completed the entire lesson; followed directions; answers were mostly correct; ordered and named the planets; knows 9/10 planetary facts.

 

 drew picture which shows 2 or more  features of a planet; named the planet and its position from the sun; wrote 2 facts about the planet; demonstrated good mechanics. Students completed the assessment, followed all directions, and answered the questions correctly.

3 (B)

 tried to participate in discussion; usually asked good questions or volunteered valid responses; performed in nearly all the activities.

Little or no attempt to complete the assessment; little or no attempt to follow the directions; students answered 6/10 or less questions correctly.
