Materials:
Square tiles, pattern blocks, drawing paper, rulers, coloring
pencils
Procedure:
By constructing symmetric shapes with smaller and congruent pieces,
the
students will learn to add fractions with the same denominators.
They will
also learn to equate certain fractions with others that have different
denominators.
Evaluation:
The students will be evaluated on their class work and on a quiz.
